Bike to Work Day: This Friday

Bike to Work Day is tomorrow, May 17th here in Baltimore and we hope you are planning to participate if you can. Registration has officially closed, but it’s not too late to join in the fun. Stop by the BBW pit stop tomorrow from 7am to 9:30am for hot, delicious coffee from local roaster Thread Coffee, vegan breakfast treats from our friends at Red Emma’s, enter to win a bike when you sign the Clean Currents energize responsibly pledge and much more.

Bianchi Demo Day: Friday May 10th

Join Baltimore Bicycle Works and Bianchi Representative Will Mahler for Bianchi Demo Day, Today from 4pm to 7pm.
We are so excited to have Will here to show off his fleet and share his extensive knowledge with us. For this demo day we are focusing on Bianchi’s carbon road bikes including the Sempre and Infinito .
If you have been thinking about a new carbon Bianchi road bike, this is a great opportunity to test out a few and get a feel for the superior ride Bianchi is able to offer. Will is an expert in everything Bianchi and he will be able to educate you on the fine details behind the technology and design of these bikes.

Bike to Work Day 2013

Bike to Work Day 2013 will be celebrated in the Baltimore region and across the nation on Friday May 17, 2013. This year marks the 16th annual event in Baltimore and will feature events at locations around the City, including in front of your favorite bike shop! So register today at http://baltometro.org/bicycle/bike-to-work-day and be sure to stop by and visit us on Friday the 17th. We will have caffeinated beverages brought to you by local coffee roaster Thread Coffee and vegan coffee cake from Red Emma’s. As always we will also have tee shirts for folks who per-registered and other morning refreshments.
Monument to Monument Ride: Sunday, May 5th

Sunday, May 5th join the Rando Rambler’s for their annual Monument to Monument Ride. The ride meets at Baltimore’s Washington Monument at 7:45am and continues 97 miles south on lightly trafficked roads ending at the Washington Monument in DC. It is a casual paced ride and a great opportunity to meet and mingle with other cyclists. This ride is always highly anticipated and is promised to be a wonderful day spent on your bike.
