What We’re Lovin’: 650B Wheels
We first introduced you to our Jamis Dragon 650b demo bike in the spring and now after several months of riding, I have to report back how much I am loving this bike. I have officially jumped on to team 650b and am convinced they are here to stay. As someone who is working hard to improve my technical skills I have found that the 650b wheel gets me over obstacles easier and allows me to roll over technical terrain with more confidence than I had on a 26” wheel. Yet I have not noticed any significant changes in my ability to maneuver the bike through tight corners and turns. I am definitely feeling the goldy locks effect with this wheel size. Big enough to get me over rocks, roots and logs, yet small enough that I still feel in complete control of my bike. And of course I like the option of a steel hard tail, but I think the 650b also shines in the full suspension category. Interested in checking out the Jamis Dragon 650b or a Jamis Dakar 650b?
