Matt Gilman on the radio
Our dear friend Matt Gilman is going to be on WYPR this friday (November 6th) at noon and again at 7pm. He is being interviewed by Aaron Henkin about his trials bike riding. Matt is somewhat unique in that he rides his trials bike without the benefit of being able to see.
Matt lost his sight going on five years ago now due to complications from his diabetes. He got back on the bike after a year or two off and he has been keeping on progressing ever since. He has been a real inspiration to people trying to do things that many though real improbable if not impossible.
I am posting some videos Matt uploaded onto the web so you can get a feel for his riding.
