Halloween on Your Bike

Halloween weekend is filled with bike events! Starting Friday night with the Critical Mass ride. Critical Mass meets every last Friday of the month in front of the Washington Monument in Mt. Vernon at 7pm. This Friday riders are also encouraged to dress in costume.
Saturday night Nate Evans, Baltimore city bike planner is hosting the B’More Spooky Halloween Bike Ride. Bikers will meet at War Memorial Plaza at 6:30 then proceed to visit some of the city’s spookier spots including Poe’s Grave and Greenmount Cemetery. RSVP on Socializer. Costumes are also encouraged for this event
Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. the southbound lanes of Roland Avenue between Roland Park Country School and Cold Spring Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic and open to cyclists, walkers, runners, skaters etc. This Ciclovia is brought to the citizens of Baltimore by the Roland Park Civic League for the second time.
Finally the weekend will grand finale with the Halloween Alley Cat race, presented by BMore Fixed. Racers should arrive at the start, Baltimore Bicycle Works (yep, that’s us) 1813 Falls Road in time to register and start the race at 6:30pm.
