Baltimore Bicycle Works is excited to announce the much anticipated arrival of the Yuba Mundo and Civia Halsted through our doors. Both of these bikes were featured in last months Bicycling Magazine cargo bike review. The Mundo and the Halsted are each serious utility bikes allowing their riders to do more with pedal power.
The Yuba Mundo, a long-tail cargo bike, comes with a myriad of accessories like the Go Getter, an 85 liter pannier that can easily fit two full grocery bags with room to spare, that further add expand the Yuba’s usages. The Yuba can also become a “mini-van” and carry your most precious cargo with their Baby Seat (two can fit on the rack at a time). And when the tikes grow out of their seats, not to worry, you can attach a padded seat to the top of the rack, attach a handlebar to the seat post and they can ride to school in comfort and 100% emission free. That is just scratching the surface of the possibilities a Yuba Mundo can open up.
The Civia Halsted, a front loading cargo bike, utilizes a front 20 inch wheel which lowers your cargo closer to the ground allowing you to more easily carry heavy loads. The front rack is attached to the frame and so the weight will not impact your steering and likewise the load you are carrying will not be shifted left and right as you turn.
