BBW Sponsoring the 4K for Cancer, a 4,000 Mile, Cross-Country Bike Tour Supporting Cancer Patients

Baltimore Bicycle Works is proud to announce our sponsorship of 4K for Cancer, a 4,000 mile, cross-country bike tour supporting cancer patients. The 4K for Cancer runs the nation’s oldest university-based cross-country bicycle trek. Each summer, students from universities all across the country undertake a two-month bicycle trek from the Inner Harbor of Baltimore, Maryland to the Golden Gate Bridge of San Francisco, California. The 4,000-miles that riders cycle in support of cancer patients gives the 4K its name.

This year, Baltimore Bicycle Works is proud to be helping furnish each rider with a new Jamis Aroura for their tour. 4K for Cancer is so much more than just a fundraiser, as the riders travel across country they spend time visiting with cancer patients, families and those in recovery. Spreading hope and stories of their adventure.

Spots are still open for the 2011 tour. For more information or to find out how you can support the 4K for Cancer, visit their website at http://www.4kforcancer.org.

Good luck riders!
