Baltimore Bicycle Works at DIY Fest 2010
Meredith and Tommy, workers here at the shop, are going to be participating in DIY-Fest on Sunday October 24th at 2640. 2640 is a collectively run events space located at 2640 St. Paul St. There is a panel entitled “Alternative Business Models” that Meredith and Tommy will be a part of, along with workers from Red Emma’s Bookstore and Coffee shop. There is also a bicycle maintenance workshop that Meredith will be holding.
You should go and check out all of the things that people are doing and that you can do yourself. Brewing beer, composting, silk screening, all entirely useful and wonderful things for a fuller culture. Check out the schedule here.
