We all know that bikes are a great way to get around Baltimore so it just makes sense that when traveling, most cyclists want to see their destination on two wheels. In the September 16th article, the New York Times covered the many merits of traveling with folding bikes such as the Brompton. Unlike traditional bikes, the Bromptons fold up into a small and easy to carry on unit. This allows the traveler to avoid fees associated with checking a bike during airline travel and folding bikes are welcome on most trains. Plus the ultimate benefit, when you arrive at your destination you are ready to explore and see the sights in the most fun and efficient way possible.
If you are an avid traveler or just interested in the freedom provided by a folding bike, come by and take out one of our Bromptons. We are happy to walk you through all the options so you too can build up the perfect travel companion for your next trip.
